Upgrade to 2007 and problems with milestones

I was just upgraded to project 2007. I just opened one of the projects that
was developed in 03 and I am finding that the tasks that were entered
previously as milestones no longer show as a single day but a range even
though the tasks are still showing up as milestones. How can this be fixed to
going back to reflecting just the single day?

Set the Duration of each Milestone task to 0 days. Hope this helps.

The duration is set to zero and the task has the "milestone" check box chosen.

the schedule is currently set as "Schedule from: Project Finish Date.

Could this be affecting it? It worked fine showing a milestone date as a
single day and not a range in 2003.

Hmmm. What happens if you change the Schedule From value to Project Start
Date? Do the milestone problems go away? Let us know. Thanks!

Yes they do but then that creates other problems elsewhere.

I did find that if I insert 1 minute instead of leaving it a milestone it
works properly as schedule from finish date.

Well, I'm blanking. I have never seen the behavior you describe with
milestones. Perhaps someone else in this newsgroup can take a stab at
solving your problem. Sorry I can't be of more help to you.
