Upgrade to 2007?

I have been running 2007 on my Vista computer. It died. I am temporarily
going back to an old XP laptop with 2003 installed. If I upgrade it to 2007
will that require much more resources? I do not have exact specs on the XP
machine.

The minimum specs for 2007 are available on the MS Office site. But for real
usage it certainly requires more memory than shown there.
