Upgrade to Excel 2003?

I am running lotus 1 2 3 dos, should I consider upgrading
to Excel 2003? have there been any improvements made in
the past 13 years in the spreadsheet world?

One or two, but I hear that XL2003 is no improvement on XP, which I think is

Not really. 80% or so of what you use a spreadsheet for can still be
accomplished with 123R3. The other 20% is almost always unnecessary.
