UPGRADE TO OFF 2000

I have an old machine (that I am happy using) running
win95 - I currently have Off97 and bought an Upgrade to
Off2000. When installing it will get right up
to "verifying install tasks" OK then when "Installing MS
Off" error messsage "Installer terminated prematurely". I
have tried several ways to install - no go.

Anyone have any ideas?

What is the system resources? RAM? Hard Drive? CPU? Office 2000 has more
stringent requirements than 97.

Milly,

as I said it is an old system (probably time to get a new
one) 200MMX, 8gb HD, 32mb RAM.
