Upgrade to Office 2003 PRO = Outlook 2003 PROBLEMS ...

I have upgraded from Works 7 to Office Profossional
Edition 2003. On first Outlook 2003 run, it
reported mscoree.dll missing. Installed Net Framework
1.1, and restarted system. Outlook 2003 started the first
time, but when I restart program, it will not open.
When I try to shut down the computer, I get the following
error: "DDE Server Window - this program does not reply."
I have deselected all Add-In and COM Objects in Outlook
2003. That did not help.
When Outlook 2003 start in SAFETY MODE, it seems to run
okay. Need help.

Start by running scanpst.exe against your pst-file to check it for errors.

I used "search for files", but could not find any .pst
file on the computer ... ? Where should that file be
located?

Make sure you include hidden and system files and folders when searching for
pst-file.

By default it is located in
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\

You can also locate the file by using
Rightclick the root folder (probably Outlook Today)-> Properties-> button
Advanced-> field Filename
