Hello,

I want to upgrade 20 XP PC's from Office 2000 Pro to Office 2003 Pro.
Unfortunately, i can not but Office 2003 licenses anymore.
Can i buy upgrade licenses 2007 Pro instead and then install Office 2003 on
these PC's?
Thanks.

OEM and retail versions of Office 2007 are not eligible for downgrade to
Office 2003. But according to
http://download.microsoft.com/downl...9d-4996-b198-7b9d3fe15611/downgrade_chart.doc
:

"[Volume Licensing] Customers who have licensed Microsoft Office
Professional Plus 2007 are eligible to downgrade to Office Professional
Enterprise 2003 and all previous versions as described above. Customers
who have licensed Microsoft Office Standard 2007 are eligible to
downgrade to Office Standard Edition 2003 and all previous versions of
Office Standard Edition."

So if you are a Microsoft volume licensing customer, and if you purchase
a volume license for Office 2007 Standard or Professional Plus, then you
may be able to downgrade to the 2003 equivalents. Contact your
Microsoft volume licensing specialist for additional information.
