upgrade to office 2007

i bought a new computer that came with a trial version of office 2003. can i
upgrade to office 2007 pro? at what cost? also, i have many important Lotus
1-2-3 files. will i be able to open them in excel?

A trial version does not qualify for upgrade pricing - only paid versions will. See http://www.office.microsoft.com for pricing for the Office Suites. As for Lotus, never used it but a converter should be available as long as you elect to install optional components.
