Upgrade to Office Standard from Home/Student edition?

Is it possible to upgrade from the Office for Home and Student edition to the
Standard edition? If so, what's the process?

Thanks.

While they are basically the same program suite except for Outlook (but your
H/S version can't be used for commercial purposes), you can't upgrade from
Office Home/Student to any other version of Office. You will need to
purchase the full retail version (not upgrade) of the version of office you
desire.

Hi Pubscout,

Office 2007 Standard edition retail edition allows installation and use on two computers, while Office 2007 Home & Student edition
allows installation for 3 family member computers.

Office Home & Student Edition is the standard edition with OneNote substituted with Outlook 2007 and, as LVTravel points out, a
restriction added to the licensed use to not allow it to be used for business purposes.

You can crossgrade from Office 2007 Home and Student Edition to another Office 2007 product suite using the 'upgrade' edition of
that package, but you can also purchase either the Outlook 2007 retail or Home & Student products, to match the license installs.
The Outlook 2007 Home & Student product appears to be a bit more difficult to locate for purchase.

The problem for me, Bob, is business cards. Very difficult to work with in
Student, but apparently that function qualifies as a business use?
