Upgrade to SP3

I was informed that I need to upgrade my Office 2003 to SP3. I tried
uncessfully to download SP3 from Microsoft web site, so I ordered a SP3 CD
from Microsoft. I tried to install SP3 from the CD provided by Microsoft and
still was unsuccessfull. The following error message pop up: "The expected
version of the product was not found on your system." Any help will be
appreciated.

Office 2003 does not have a SP3 {SP2 is the latest}. Suggest you look at the
CD Microsoft sent you to determine what product the upgrade is applicable.

Hi Bamar,

I have the same issue, as do many of us. I ordered the CD in November. It
was to arrive in December. When it didn't get there I called to find out
that my order had been cancelled, and that I would have to reorder when
available in late January. It is now February and it still isn't available.

This is a 4+ hour download. I am working off of a notebook due to a
hardware failure on my desktop. I certainly don't want to download SP3 again
after I've fixed my desktop. I did have to do this download over because the
dial-up connection stopped before the download was complete.

It looks like the only way we will get SP3 is if enough of us keep
requesting it.

If you indeed did get SP3 in the mail, please respond. Perhaps that is why
they stopped offering it because people were having problems with it. Please
let us know.

Thanks.
