Upgrade v Clean Install Office 2003

We are about to deploy office 2003 to our front end Terminal Services /
Citrix servers.

Does anyone know if there are any differences between doing and new
installation (removing old Office 2000) and doing an upgrade? Are there
advantages of doing one over the other?
