i have a full version word 2000 - can i use this and buy an upgrade
office 2000? tia

does that mean if i have an earlier winword i can use that when i use
an office upgrade cd? i could just put in an early winword and it
would accept it for the office upgrade?

Hi Steve,

MS Office 2000 upgrades recognized MS Works v3-v6/2001
as upgrade installation qualifiers.

MS Office XP/2002 upgrades do not recognize any
MS Works product.

MS Office 2003 upgrades will recognize
MS Works v5(2000) or higher.
