I just upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007. I use Outlook extensively.
One thing I liked about 2003 is that at the bottom of the window in a contact
or calendar event, there was a stripe that you could add a contact or a
category to the contact or calendar event. I have looked through help and
have not been able to determine how to do a couple of things. One, is with a
contact open, in 2003 I could go to the "Actions" drop down menu and select
"New Appointment" with Contact" and it would open a calendar event and
automatically put a link to the contact in that bottom stripe. Then when I
would open the calendar event I could double click on the contact name and it
would immediately open the contact. I did find out how to add the contact in
the notes field, but I would have to make more steps to get this
accomplished. I use my contacts and calendar extensively and I want to be
able to see the link to the contact in my calendar event. Is there a way to
do this?
