Upgraded from Outlook XP to 2007 now Outlook won't open.

After Upgrading to Office 2007 on a Windows Vista Ultimate(64bit), Outlook
2007 will not open. It tells me my Exchange Server is not available, and when
i try to open "offline" Outlook just shuts down. I tried Connecting to my
Office through my VPN connection before opening Outlook, so the Exchange
server would be available, with the same result. I am able to make a remote
Desktop connection to the exchange Server in question with the VPN connected,
so I know I can "get to the server." When I open control panel to try and
alter the Profile (figuring I would just start over) the Mail Applet is not
there.

How can I get Outlook 2007 to work? Oh and I checked the other Office apps
and they work without a problem.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The mail applet is in the 32-bit section of Additional Options in Control
Panel as Outlook is a 32-bit application.

Roady,

Thanks. Once I found the Mail applet I was good to go. I deleted the
settings that were a hold over from the previous install, and recreated them.
Everything works now. It seems weird that MS wouldn't have the news of this
change included in the help for either Vista or Office 2007.

Thanks for your help,
