Hello,
I upgraded to Office 2003 Pro yesterday. Now when I open
IE it hangs on a blank screen for about 4 mins, then it
works fine. Once it is open I can browse sites fine, but
if I open another browser window, it will wait about 4
mins on a blank screen again. This also happens with
Outlook. This does not happen to any other Office
applications nor with any other internet programs on my
computer. It only happens with these 2 programs. The only
real relation between the 2 are that they both use the
internet. But the connection is not the problem since it
is not trying to resolve host or proxy settings, and it
works fine once it has initially opened.
System - 1ghz Dell Demension, 512mb ram, 120GB hd,
Networked via switch/router.
Any ideas? This does not happen to any other computers on
my network that are running the old Office. Also if I
have IE open and then try to open Outlook, both programs
go to NOT RESPONDING. I did send error reports on this.
