Upgraded to Office 2003 from Office 2000

After running the Office 2003 software installation I went out and downloaded
other Office 2003 updates, etc. But now, when I try to use the MS update
capability to look at my computer for suggested updates, it only provides me
with Office 2000 update suggestions. I did leave MS Frontpage on my
computer. But that's the only old MS Office software left. I did see an
Office 2000 disk 2 entry in Add and Remove Programs and I remove it.

But still, the MS Update still thinks I have Office 2000 and ONLY provides
me with Office 2000 updates. What have others done to remedy this issue.

The update site is offering you updates that include FrontPage 2000.
Choices:

Install the updates offered and then go back and check for updates again
to get those that apply to Office 2003.
Uninstall FrontPage 2000.
Use the Microsoft Update vice the Office Update. Microsoft Update
provides updates for Windows 2003, Office 2003 and Office XP but not Office
2000.

If you have all Office 2003 updates installed, it will only prompt you for
Office fixes you do NOT have installed. Check under Add/Remove to see if
you have any other Office 2000 programs, such as using the Office Shortcut
bar from Office 2000 to replace the missing OSB in Office 2003.

Thank you to Don MI and Milly for your responses.

Actually the suggested updates MS is recommending are: 1.) the 1k
pre-installer, 2.) Office 2000 SP3, 3.) a security patch for Office 2000 and
4.) another small update...I can't recall.

In any event, I am going to follow your advice and use another MS Office
update.

That is, unless you have other suggestions. Oh, and BTW, I have checked and
recheck to make certain all Office 2000 programs (other than Frontpage) have
been removed in "Add and Remove Programs."
