I've tried the disk that was sent but that didn't help. How and where can I
find these files?

On your disk is the only place they can be.

After rethinking my problem and rereading the window that comes up I should have added that first I downloaded the upgrade and the disk was sent later. The message says to go to my network but I'm not on a network so I guess then mean microsoft or on my computer. I can't find the saved copy and don't even remember the name of the file I should be looking for. I hope this helps.
