upgraded to visio 2003

We upgraded to visio 2003 and when we opened the org charts created in visio
2002 the font was different, the shapes were different sizes, the connectors
were off the page. Why? And what can we do other than recreate?

The Organization Chart solution was completely rewritten in Visio 2003.
However, your Visio 2002 drawings should display correctly in Visio 2003,
they just won't function as Organization charts.

If your Visio 2002 document was created with the Visio 2002 Organization
Chart solution, you should be presented with a dialog offering to convert
the drawing when you load it into Visio 2003. Are you seeing this dialog?

Mike,

We see the dialog. They display correctly but we can not make any changes.
When we convert, that's when things get all messed up. I guess our only
solution is to re-do the org charts.

If you haven't installed Service Pack 1 for Visio 2003, make sure you do
that. This service pack made several improvements to the Org Chart
converter.
