Upgrading an OLD version

Hi, Im just wondering if it is possible to upgrade versions as old as Office
97 and/or 2000 to Office 2007? Or if we have to purchase it and completely
start all over again? Or if it is better to upgrade to 2003 as our operating
system is XP?

Please help!

Office 97 is not on the list of upgrade qualifiers for Office 2007 products. Office 2007 products are. You'll find information on
