upgrading Excel 97 to 2000 on 98SE

1. Will Excel 2000 work with Win98SE, P2-366Mhz-256MB?
2. Have MS Office 97 SR-2, can I upgrade ONLY the Excel 97
part to 2000 and retain rest as is?
3. If yes to 1 and 2, where do I find/purchase Excel 2000
only?

Yes. So will Excel XP.

I think so.

Try www.ebay.com or any other online auction. Try also a software buy/sell newsgroup. If
you can get hold of "only" the complete Office 2000 package then do a custom install and
choose only Excel and its features.
