Upgrading from Office 2000 to Office 2007

I have Office 2000 and would like to upgrade to Office 2007. Can I buy the
upgrade version or do I need to buy the full version?

Also, right now I have Office 2003 that I downloaded from a friend but it is
on my computer as a trial version since they already registered it on their
computer. What I would like to do is save myself money by buying the upgrade
rather than the full version of Office 2007. If I remove Office 2003 and
reinstall Office 2000 can I then buy the upgrade of 2007 rather than the full
or am I just stuck having to purchase the full version?

You can purchase the Upgrade version of Office 2007. Your Office 2000 is a
qualifying product for any edition of Office 2007.

Before you install Office 2007, uninstall the trial version of Office 2003
you have on your computer.

You do not need to install Office 2000. When the Office 2007 installer asks
for a qualifying product, just insert your Office 2000 CD in the same drive
and the installer will accept it. If you have one of the many versions of
Works installed that are also qualifying products, you will not need to
insert your Office 2000 CD.
