Upgrading from Office 7 Beta to Office 7 release

Hi. I've downloaded Office 7 trial release after my Beta version expired (I
loved Office 2007). It was necessary to first uninstall the Beta version. Now
however I cannot open any file I created with the Beta version.
Will buying the licensed product solve this problem or must I somehow reload
the Beta version?
Any help on this greatly appreciated as I'm on an overseas assignment and
need a number of files ASAP.

The file format for beta a RTM versions are different.
If files are really needed (and why should they be? it was a beta product!)
you will need to remove the RTM version and reinstall the Beta
