Can anyone tell me if the 2007 Visio Upgrade will work with my current
version of Visio 2000 SR1?

Hi Bob,

I just looked on Amazon, and it states this for "Microsoft Visio
Professional 2007 Version Upgrade":

"Upgrade version available to those who have one of the following
qualifying applications: Microsoft Visio Professional 2000-2002;
Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2003; Microsoft Visio Standard
2000-2002; and Microsoft Office Visio Standard 2003-2007"

It looks like you are in luck. Of course I haven't tried it, and that
blurb was surely written by Marketing :)

It is supported and should work - I have tested it myself. However we have
seen cases where the older installation is not properly recognized, because
the older installation processes were not as clean as the recent versions.
If you try to install and it will not 'see' the previous install, you will
have to provide a CD for the qualifying version. For Visio 2000 media, you
will also need to manually browse to the folder on the CD containing the
setup program - something like x:\Install\Bin, as I recall.
