Upgrading from Works to Office Pro

B

Bill Rose

I have upgraded a few desktops from Windows XP Home
Edition to Windows XP Pro successfully. I now want to
replace MS Works with MS Office Pro on these same
machines. Are there any gotchas or hidden issues I should
know about or be concerned about?

Thanks in advance for you help.

Hi Bill,

MS Works and MS Office can live together. Each has
programs the other does not. MS Office 2003 does not have
support, for example, MS Works .WDB database files.
