Upgrading Office 2000 to Office Student and Teacher 2003

I have a legal copy of MS Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003 and I
would like to upgrade my current office 2000. Since my MS Office
Student and Teacher Edition 2003 is not and upgrade version, will I have
any trouble installing? Will it install as a completely different
program into it own folder with its own registry changes? Will I have
to uninstall 2000 first or after?

Mike,
I don't multi-post as a practice, but I responded to your advice in
microsoft.public.office; you advised someone or the group to post here
since the office ng was an "orphan" ng. I'll go back and check your reply.
Thanks,
JS
