I have a working installation of Office 2000 on my Windows 2000 terminal
server that I want to upgrade to Office XP. I would like to retain all
current installation and user settings pertaining to Office. Can I just run
the Office XP install from Add/Remove programs and have it do an upgrade when
it finds the current installation of Office 2000? After the 2000 to XP
upgrade, I would then install all Office service packs to current via
Add/Remove programs? Can someone please provide some insight on the best way
to do this, keeping in mind that I want to save all of my current Office
settings. Thanks.
