Hi,
I would like to update an Office 97 Pro SP-2 to Office XP Pro on a Windows
2000 Pro SP4 machine from off a network. I am in the administrator group so
installation privileges are not an issue.
Is it recommended to let Office XP Setup remove the Office 97 Pro SP-2
installation or should I manually run any of three removal tools I have come
across; Office 97 File and Registry Eraser Utility, Windows Installer
CleanUp Utility, or Office Removal Wizard?
I would prefer to let Office XP Setup do its own thing but perhaps someone
has prior experience with this type of upgrade. I do have the original
Office 97 Pro SP-2 disc if needed.
Finally, are there any problems with Office XP Pro on Windows 2000 Pro SP4?
Thanks everyone, Steve
