I am running Office XP on both my laptop and home-desktop.
I have just bought a new home desktop - how do I install
and activate my Office XP onto the new desktop.

Hi Tom,

Office XP retail editions can be installed on one desktop
and one laptop for the same user. There isn't a deactivation
procedure. Uninstall from your old computer, install on
the new one then use the telephone activatation method
to speak to a MS technician to have them transfer the
authorization.

OEM copies of MS Office cannot be transferred.
