Upgrading settings from Office 97 to Off 2003 possible?

Alex

Hi,

I've just recently upgraded from win98 & off97 to WinXP &
Off2003.

Is there any way to export certain settings from off97 to
off2003.

For example the autotext settings. Is there a way to export
these to 2003 so that i dont have to manually add them??

I am sure that there must be some sort of configuration
file that stipulates all these?

thank for your advise,

Best Regards,
Alex

If you did an in-place upgrade from Office 97 to Office 2003, the file
"normal.dot" should have been kept which is where all of your autotext
settings are kept. If you did a "clean" installtion and did not back up
your files, then the answer is that they are now lost.
