Upgrading student edition to Entourage EWS.

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange I have a customer that started with the Student addition of Entourage office 2008. He was able to upgrade the software to version 12.2.4. However when it came time to upgrade the current version to Entourage EWS it kicked back an error; This upgrade can not be completed because a required software is needed. He is on Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and it is a MAC OS X.

He and i have similar machines and mine upgraded with no problem. Any ideas?

H&S version of Office 2008 does not include Exchange support. I¹m not sure
how he has an Exchange account since it¹s not included.

If he has the standard version that does include Exchange, he must qualify
for EWS. Exchange server 2003 cannot be used in EWS nor with Apple Mail
Exchange. See this link for requirements.
