Upgrading the client drawing with new stencils and template -- urgent

Hi,

My clients has been working with a stencil and template that were developed
previously. Now I add a custom property to the stencil and modified the
macros in the template. Now I am about to deliver stencil and template with
the changes. How to upgrade the existing drawings created using the old
template and stencil?

My understanding is that, if you save the drawing made by previous version in
your new Visio, the drawing is saved as the drawing of new version. You would
recieve message from visio which version you select.

Hi,

The problem is as follows.

I have a stencil which is created in the Visio 2003 version. My stencil is
having the macros.

I created a template using this stencil. I create macros in my template
also. The template also created in the Visio 2003 version.

I have given the template to the users. Users created the vsd files using
this template.

Now my requirement got changed. So I need to add a custom property to the
existing stencil and change the macros in the template. I added a custom
property to the stencils and modified the macros in the template as per the
requirement change.

Now the problem is how to change the already created vsd file the changes I
have done to the template and stencils.

I want add a custom property to the existing shapes and change the macros.
