Upgrading the trial to a select version of Onenote

How do I upgrade the trial version of Onenote to a select version without
losing any data or settings.

Hi Vaughn,

You can go to the Help menu and select Activate Product. A new window will
appear that allows you to convert the trial to full product without
uninstalling your trial version. You can purchase the product at retail first
and obtain the product key or purchase the product key online with your
credit card directly from Microsoft.

thanks,
christina

I don't have the "purchase online" option on my spanish trial version. It's
simply not available because of the region I'm in.

So I tried another way and downloaded the english version from Microsoft,
but after installing it, it's still in spanish, and still unable to buy a key
online.

I didn't uninstall my trial first, because I don't want to lose my data.

I simply want to download an english or spanish version, purchase it online
and get rid of the trial period.

It's been really difficult to do something such simple as that. Please tell
me how.

Once registered and installed on the desktop PC: Can I "move" my onenote
license to a laptop pc in case I get one?

Rodrigo.

My region is /latam. If you visit the link, there are only telephone numbers:
no online options.

I already called. The only solution they offer is to go buy a box from a
retailer.
.....And that's exactly what I am NOT willing to do.

This is software, for santa's sake. In fact, software I already have.
Why should I purchase a cardboard box with plastic and paper inside?

A license code purchased online with my credit card will do. Why can't this
be done? It seems so simple, it appears to be impossible.

I don't get Microsoft's point on this one.

Laws are perfect. I've bought software online from several countries around
the world.

I have no clue.
