upgrading to 2003

Hello
I am upgrading from Office 2000 to 2003. I am in the process and it says it
is going to remove all my old 2000 programs (word, excel, Outlook). I am
concerned because I want to make sure all my Outlook info transfers over
(contacts, future appointments, emails). It doesn't tell me anywhere what to
do, and I don't want to assume it will bring them in before it removes the
old program. Help!

Upgrading will keep all your settings. If you want to be sure then back up your *.pst files for Outlook

recieve mail, but says it has a problem sending mail, something about SMTP

outgoing...what happened?
