Upgrading to 2009 in UK

Hi everyone, I just downloaded the 2009 version of Accounting and tried to
activiate it using my 2008 key but it refuses to accept it. I went to the
site where I purchased the original licence for 2008 from but they say that
they were unaware that 2009 was even available in the UK and that I should
contact Microsoft (which is more than a little problematic it seems as you
don't seem able to even email them without a support contract).

Anyone know whether I can actually upgrade to 2009 here in the UK at the
moment?

It only shows 2008 as available in UK

If you have found a copy of 2009 somewhere, it stands to reason your 2008
key isn't going to work.
