I'm trying to update my flight logbook database to Access 2007. However,
when I try, it says that the database is open by the Admin and can't be
updated until it is closed by the admin (or words to that effect).
All the help that I google says to erase the .ldb file, which is present
when the database is open. When the database is open, I can't delete the
file, because it is being used. When I close Access, the file disappears.
I've also tried to import to a blank Access 2007 database, but it flags a
missing procedure. (I'm trying to reaquaint myself with Access, since I
wrote these routines a few years ago...yikes) In any case, I was hoping to
update using the above mentioned method.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott
