Upgrading to FrontPage 2002

Guest

I have a licensed copy of FrontPage98, including CD. This
software was installed on my prior machine.

My current machine has WinXP Pro and OfficeXP. Two
questions:

(1) Am I eligible for the upgrade pricing for FrontPage
2002? (I assume yes).

(2) Is there a way for me to install FrontPage 2002 on the
machine with WinXP and OfficeXP WITHOUT installing the OLD
FrontPage98 version?

Thanks.

You don't not need to install a prior version, just have the CD handy, as
you will need to insert it when the upgrade prompt you that it can't find a
qualifying product.

Does the Frontpage need to be the one that preceded it? I have Frontpage 2000
(which I cannot get to work on my new computer) and was thinking of getting
Frontpage 2003, but would I need Frontpage 2002 in order to get the upgrade to
work or could I do it with Frontpage 2000?

FP2003 will upgrade from FP98 and up.

You really should be able to install FP2000 under Windows 98 and up.
