Upgrading to Office 2003 - Introducing Outlook

Will script automated enterprise upgrade from Office XP
to Office 2003. Default upgrade behavior is for Office to
keep options the way they were configured under previous
version. We're moving from Domino to Exchange. Would like
to push the previously non-installed Outlook onto the
upgraded Office installations.

How do I get transforms or the like to push additional
options, like Outlook, to the new installation?

The requirement is a fully automated process without
having to touch any machines. I have all scripting parts
except for getting Outlook pushed onto the new
installations.

When you build a transform, you select what options you
want to be installed. If you use this transfrom when
upgrading Office, old MST options will still be applied.
That's the problem. Our old installation point had a
transform that did not include Outlook. Hence, Outlook
will not show up even though the new transform tells it
to.
Does that make more sense...?

Re-phrased: How do I get a transform to override existing
installation options, when upgrading Office?

Ohhhhhh, I understand. I'm not sure I know the answer to this, but here's a
suggestion...

Can you run the upgrade using the MST, then use the Custom Maintenance
Wizard from Office 2003 to add Outlook? It's a two-part process, but it
might be well-documented:
