Scenario: The vast majority of the computers in my company are running
Office XP, without Outlook installed. We want to upgrade everyone's
version to Office 2003 with Outlook via GPO's.
I used the CIW to create an MST that is supposed to remove all previous
versions of Office and install 2003, including Outlook. I publish the
package/MST using a GPO and the (test) system gets the package and
installs/upgrades to Office 2003 ....except Outlook is not installed.
I can consistently reproduce this in the lab. It happens EVERY time.
Any ideas?
