Upgrading to Office 2007

I

imaref

My upgrade version of Office 2007 will be here on Monday (Dell
currently has free shipping and $20 off of software titles over $100).

How do I prepare my Outlook XP so that I don't lose contacts, emails,
settings, etc. during the upgrade--or will the Outlook 2007
automatically import all of these?

Thanks in advance for anyone who takes time to reply.

Outlook 2007 should use all the settings and data from Outlook 2003
automatically. At worst, you may have to reconnect the data file; this is
both unlikely and easy to do if necessary.

Office 2007 requires an old version of Microsoft Office like 97, Xp, o
2003 etc. When istalling, you'd better use EXPRESS (Recommended). Doin
so, you'll be able to read all created files based on the other ol
versions. Hope this may help you

That is true only if you have purchased an upgrade version.
