Upgrading to ON12?

As I patiently wait for ON12, or whatever it's going to be called, I wonder
(if anyone knows) will there be an upgrade price, or discount for people
whom already purchased the original Onenote?
I mean we paid $80 just to be the guinnea pigs, if you know what i mean. And
so we can buy the next version which will have mostly everything we want (or
need), when all we wanted was it to be in the last version. ;-)

Still waiting.

alternative to OneNote. "

I am not sure why you are in a rush to avoid OneNote 2007. ON 2007 is going
to be available in the Home and Student edition, providing Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and OneNote is one package for $149. This is an excellent price
for the suite. Considering I paid $129 for the editions of Word, Excel, and
PPT then the "upgrade" is only $20 ... not bad at all !

upgrade to Windows xp in order to use version 12 then I'm looking
elsewhere for other software. Any suggestions? I was just looking at
"The Journal"

I just installed and looked at that. Honestly, it is an absolute joke
compared to One Note. I can't believe you would even compare the two :)
I can't wait for the new version actually! $149 for students is looking good
2 me.
