Upgrading Windows and Office

D

Dave

Currently, I have Windows ME on my computer with Office 2000 Professional. Last night I purchased Windows XP Professional to upgrade my system. Can I continue to use Office 2000 Professional edition with Windows XP? Since I have Office 2000 Professional, is there an upgrade available to get me to the latest Office 2003 Professional? Or would I need to buy Office 2003 Professional brand new from the store? Any help, I would appreciate it... Thanks.

Hi Dave,

You can continue to use Office 2000 on Windows XP,
although sometimes if you 'upgrade Windows' over an
installed Office copy you may have better luck by
uninstalling Office 2000, upgrading (or do a clean
install of Windows) then installing.

Office 2000 qualifies for purchasing an upgrade version
of any Office 2003 Edition
