Hello. I have owned Word 2002 for over a year, as
purchased as part of Works Suite 2003. This week, I
received a licnesed copy of Office Pro 2003 full package
for home use (via a discount with my employer).
Rather than installing the whole suite on my home
computer, I selectively installed a few programs that
included Powerpoint, Excel, & Publisher. Now here's my
question: Since Word 2003 is part of the package with
this CD, I attempted to upgrade. The installation steps
are confusing for me, & I don't want to inadvertanely
uninstall my Word 2002 software, or cause any problems
with my setup. If possible, please advise if this Office
2003 Pro package does indeed offer the ability to upgrade
an existing version, and if so, how to do it. The CD
simply has several icons listed since I made the initial
install of the other Office programs, & I'm reluctant to
go any further. (Please be as specific as possible.)
Thank you in advance.
