Upload error with FP2003

Heath

I have been using FP2003 to upload material to my website for the past month,
but today I keep getting error messages when I try to upload. I have
verified that the FP extensions are installed through my websites Control
Panel.

The error messages FP2003 gives are:

Unable to open'http://www.californiavarmintcallers.com'. Possible causes:
1. The webserver may not have the FR Server Extensions Installed.
2. The web server may be temporarily out of service.
3. If you are connecting through a proxy server, the proxy settings may be
incorrect.
4. An error may have occurred in the web server.

I've not changed any setting on my computer, so I am at a loss here as to
what is going on. The website is still up and running, I just can't upload
files to it.

Any suggestions?

I get that all the time using the commercial yahoo host. I Just leave it
alone and try later. Usually works.

I did, but they are taking awhile to reply. Apparently there are a whole
bunch of FP users weho are having trouble today.

Also try it with a trailing forward slash as
http://www.californiavarmintcallers.com/
and in IE browse to the site and try File Edit w/ FP

I must admit that I have got the same problem as well - it has never shown
itself before and I have not changed any settings. My web hosting company are
also confused but 4 days later they havent managed to solve the problem and I
need to republish. I have tried the trsailing forward slash - no improvement.
Any help out there?

Ask you web host to run a server health check on the extensions.
