Upload shared docs problem - 2nd post

Nate

I receive a webpage error when I go to the Upload
Documents page. It is a "Permision denied" error that
lists the Url as a page on our teamservices server. I get
this error as soon as I go to the page, I don't have to
attempt to upload a doc to get the error. If I attempt to
upload a doc, it sits there like it does nothing, but if
you go back to the documents library the document
actually gets uploaded. The same exact thing happens when
I attempt to delete a document.I have done the following
to troubleshoot. I can create a new document and upload
it with no problems. I can connect to the subweb directly
through STS as a user or as the account that Project
Server uses to talk to STS and upload new or existing
documents with no problem. It seems to be a problem where
Project Server isn't correctly passing my credentials to
STS since I can do it directly through STS with no
problem. I also double checked that the user that I am
using to connect from ProjectServer to STS is a local
admin on both boxes and also a member of the
Administrators group inside both STS and ProjectServer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nate

Nate:

Are you using Windows Authentication in a domain? BTW, these news servers
continue to be under attack, so your original post may have been lost to
some of us.

I am using integrated authentication on everything (STS,
ProjSvr, SQL) in an active directory domain.

Nate:

If this is happening on every machine, I'd first try upgrading MDAC on the
server. Your problem sounds more like its specific to your machine, in which
case you should try upgrading MDAC on your workstation. See if that helps.
