Publisher is best used for fairly small simple, static sites, not large
dynamic sites. If you have a relatively small fixed number of SKUs that you
can post manually and use PayPal, then Publisher might work for you. But if
you have so many different items in your inventory such that you need a
database to manage them, then perhaps it is best to look for a different
program to build your site. Look to your host for
other server side solutions for ready made eCommerce systems or a dynamic
"content management
system" like Joomla which is PHP and MySQL based (Google other CMS). Perhaps
even Serif WebPlus would be a better choice as it has a built-in ecommerce
solution... Bottom line is that you should probably do some more research
about other alternative ways of building your site now before you invest
much more time in trying to build a large ecommerce site with Publisher and
Excel. Just my two cents worth...
