Uploading documents (sharepoint)

Greg

Some of the projects that have been on the server (2003) allow document
uploading just fine (using the web interface, but problem exists in both).
Wehn you click on a newer project, I get this message:
The documents, risks and issues features in Project Web Access use Windows
SharePoint Services.
A Windows SharePoint Services site needs to be created for your project
before you can share project documents or track project risks and issues.
Site creation takes a few minutes, so if the project was just published,
wait a few minutes and then visit the page again. Otherwise, contact your
server administrator.

Does it create automatically? Anything I can check to see why it takes so
long or does not happen at all?

Thanks

Greg,

Go to the Admin section of PWA and select the option to Manage Sharepoint Services. It starts out on the sharepoint connection configuration page so you can see how sharepoint integration is setup.

After you get there click the "Site provisioning setting" to see if Sharepoint sites are supposed to be created automatically or not. Review and adjust as desired.

Next go to the "Manage Sharepoint sites" link to see if Sharepoint sites have been created for all of your projects or not. If they haven't and you want them just select the row of the desired project and click the Create Site link. The site should build in a minute or so. Hope that helps.
