Uploading multiple Documents on Project Server

Hi,

This is regarding the uploading of multiple documents on project
server.
When we upload multiple files, the owner' name is not visible.
But, The owner' name is visible when we upload a single file at a
time.
This may be due to, while uploading a single file at a time one can
select the owner of the file.
This is not the case with uploading of multiple files at a time.We can
select owner while multiple file uploading

Case 1:
When we uploaded two documents from a machine with "upload multiple
files" option, it's showing owners for each file and both the
owners are different and not related to current project for which the
documents are uploaded.

Case 2:
When we uploaded same documents from the same machine again with
"upload multiple files" option, it was not showing any owners for
those files.

Please help me to find why the owners were reflected in case 1

This is a question better asked of the Sharepoint groups

But as an overview, when you select the multiple files option you bypass the
metadata promotion process, this is not something you are doing wrong

If you need a more indepth view then I suggest the sharepoint groups or the
HP book on Sharepoint which covers the promoting of metadata during the
migration process in some depth
