I am linking to an ODBC table that I am not to change
however would like to format the names on a report pulling
from said table to display in all caps (all uppercase) I
tried =UCase([Name]) and =UCase$([Name]) but it did not
work.

It should have. Perhaps it messed up because "Name" is a reserved word in Access
(it's a property of most all objects). Usually the square brackets prevent that
problem though. What exactly does "it did not work" mean? Do you get an error?

In the property for the name,in the report just enter the
greater than symbol '>' for the format property. This
will force the entry to be displayed in all caps.
