upping the upgrade?

I have Office 2003 Pro on my desktop computer but it is dying and I will be
replacing it soon with a new laptop.

I have the Office 2003 UPGRADE cd. So far, have not found the older office
original cd.

I want to install Office 2007 on the new computer that will not have any
version of Office on it.

How can I install Office 07 Pro UPGRADE with just my old 03 UPGRADE cd on a
laptop?

I was afraid of that. I guess I had better. You're right about Murphy's Law
and computers.

I don't know but Murphy's Law says you're going to need that missing older
version. I'd suggest looking a bit harder for that old CD.

Hi W.,

You should be able to use the Office 2003 upgrade product CD during Office 2007 upgrade setup. Office 2003 does not need to be
installed first.
