Upsizing to SQL 2000

Do a search at the Knowledge Base at support.microsoft.com using the
keywords "upsizing" to review the various white papers on upsizing
Access to SQL Server as well as to ensure you have any updates
required.

Access 2K Project is only a Front-End that uses MS-SQL
Back-End. Why would you want to Upsize the Access 2K
Project (Front-End) to SQL 2000 DB?

Perhaps, you like to clarify what you are trying to do???

What I have is Access 2000 front-end and DB and I want to
get Access 2000 front-end that will work with SQL 2000 DB
which should be created from Access 2000 DB. I hope this
makes it understandible now.

Aha ... The problem is that you use the term "Project" in the original post.
An Access Data Project (ADP) is different from an Access Database: an ADP
already uses an MS-SQL Server database as the back-end in the Client-Server
arrangement.

In you case, you have an Access Database as the Front-End and another one as
the Back-End.
