Does anyone know how I can translate text in work to Urdu? The language
button on the tool bar only has French and Spanish to choose from.
I don't mind if I have to purchase a package, I'm just not sure where to
start looking.
The translation packages for Word only translate single Words, not entire
texts. I don't know if a translation dictionary is provided for Urdu, but
what you'd need is the Office Language Pack CD (for your version of Office,
which you don't mention). You should find more information on
microsoft.com.
If you need a full translation, then your best bet would be to search the
Internet. No software has yet been created that can do a really good job of
translating between languages - too much judgement is required (context).
There are translation companies out there...
